Dear Madam/Sir, I am Buse Şaşmaz, I graduated from Bahçeşehir University Energy Systems Engineering. In my business life, which started in 2017 at a Singapure-based food company called “ofi”, after working as an energy system engineer for 1 year, I was promoted to Operational Excellence and Energy Systems Engineer and took part in Kaizen and Quality Circles monitoring, facilities KPI reporting and Sustainability reporting. There was a process which I pulled these reports from Excel and SAP and processed them into Tableau. Then, I would organize meetings and perform analyzes to interpret these outputs and root causes. As of August 2022, I transferred to İpragaz, a Dutch company affiliated with SHV Holding, as a Business Analyst and Performance Responsible. Here, I continued KPI reporting and Sustainability reporting. We managed a process with the IT department through SAC to digitalize the dashboard. I am continuing my master’s degree in Management Information Systems to further improve my analytical skills and data management. I have an experienced background in terms of leadership in projects, solution-oriented thinking and making sense of data sets, and I have a future where I plan to improve myself further. In addition to my ability to use Microsoft Office tools, I proceed with an agenda I have created for myself to acquire Power BI and SQL. My experience working remotely gave me a deep understanding of the importance of flexibility and sense of responsibility. Over the past two years, I have been involved in various projects working from home and have improved my time management skills in the process. Using digital tools effectively in in-team communication, I maintained the workflow and successfully completed the given tasks. I have also strengthened my problem-solving abilities thanks to the independence that remote work brings. This experience has developed the ability to quickly adapt to different working conditions that can be encountered in business life.
